Richard Bennett Reinhardt

Married my high school sweetheart,Juda Williams,in 1962 and am still married to her........ Before getting married I did spend some time in school and the U.S.Army.

Two children, Amy Reiland and her husband Doug have three children and Dr.Rich Jr. and his wife Michelle have three children [twin boys].

Retired in 2002 after selling paper and packaging for 35 great years with the same company.

Am still playing in a band, a community concert band and and the WILD IRISH BAND which was formed about 1989 for the sole purpose of playing the parade here in Columbia on St. Patrick's Day. We have however been invited to and have played in Paris, London [millennium day parade], Edinburgh, Maastricht [Holland], Vienna and Budapest. We also did the St.Patricks Day Parade in Dublin in 2005 as well as a concert in St. Patrick's Catheral. It has been a blast; L. O. McCollum would be proud! Over the past 20 years Juda and I have been fortunate to have traveled quite a bit on our own as well.

I recently made my second medical mission trip with my son to the Dominican Republic. I work as his assistant in surgery; no, we haven't lost a patient yet. These trips have been at the top of my list of great experiences.

I like to do things with my grandchildren, play golf, lunch with my buddies and old customers, some church work, visit old friends, band practice, work in the yard, spend time at the beach and just chill. I was born for retirement. I had a list of things that I wanted to accomplish when I retired but I haven't yet had time.
