Gail Marie Query Bryant, 82, of Gastonia passed away April 21, 2022 with her loving daughter by her side. She was born June 4, 1939 in Mecklenburg County, NC, a daughter of the late Milton Barnhart Query and Jean Duls Query.
Gail was a member of Lutheran Church of the Redeemer and enjoyed volunteering there. She was an avid reader and an avid sports fan, especially of golf and anything Carolina Tarheels. Gail was a loving daughter, sister, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and friend.
Gail is survived by her daughter, Melinda Gail Coletta Bradley and husband, Aaron "Bill" P. Bradley, Jr.; sister, Katherine "Kathy" Humphrey; grandchildren, Aaron "A.P." Bradley, III and wife, Allison, and William Coletta Bradley and wife, Anna; great-granddaughter, Arya Linley Bradley; nephew, Dr. Brian Smith and wife, Caroline; and niece, Christy Pittman and husband, Mark.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:00pm at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer on Wednesday, April 27, 2022.
A memorial service will follow at 12:00pm at the church with Pastor Jeff Lindsay officiating. Interment will be private for the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 1915 S. New Hope Road, Gastonia, NC 28054.
