Gloria Threlkeld Obituary

GASTONIA - Gloria Jackson Threlkeld, 72, went home to be with the Lord May 18, 2010, surrounded by her fam-ily.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great greatmother.

She was a native of Marlboro County, born November 18, 1937 to the late Ralph and Betty Miller Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Ralph Steven Threlkeld, a brother, Jerry Lane Jackson

Gloria was a graduate of Ashley High School, co-owner along with her husband with Threlkeld Painting and Re-modeling for many years.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Gary E. Threlkeld; her children, Phillip and wife Donna M. Threlkeld, Randy and wife Donna D. Threlkeld, Jerry and wife Luan S. Threlkeld, all of Gastonia; grandchildren, Jennifer and husband Jamie Carpenter, Ashley and husband Freddie Dow, Jordan Threlkeld, Erica Threlkeld, Chase Threlkeld, Cassie Threlkeld, Randall Threlkeld all of Gastonia, and Jason Evans of Hawaii; great-grandchildren, Tripp and Con-nor Dow, Alexis Carpenter and Dakota Evans.
