Nancy Hall Obituary

Gastonia, North Carolina

Nancy Weaver Hall, 86, of Gastonia passed away Sunday, September 28, 2025 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born June 13, 1939 in Gaston County, NC, a daughter of the late Herman S. Weaver and Beulah Yates Weaver.

Over the years Nancy worked as a secretary, salesperson, and homemaker. She was employed by Belk Department Store. She also served her community by working for the Gaston County Board of Elections. After her children were born, she was a full time mother and homemaker. Nancy's family was her first priority and she didn't return to work until her children were out of school. She was a wonderful mother that supported her children and grandchildren by always attending their school functions and extracurricular activities. She was a fabulous cook and always enjoyed preparing for each holiday and family gathering. Nancy filled her home with warmth, devotion and love. That love carried over to her church family at Pisgah ARP Church of Gastonia, where she was very involved.

Nancy's survivors include her beloved husband of over 68 years, William “Bill” Hall; son, Mark Hall; daughters, Marla Pridgen (Will) and Deanna Lampe (Scott); grandchildren, Ryan and Brooke Lampe, Peter and Sirena Pridgen and her sister, Wally Weaver Spencer. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Isabel Pridgen; sister, Betty Weaver Keeter; and brothers, Arthur, Bill, Bob, and Jerry Weaver.

At Pisgah ARP Church, beginning at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 3, 2025 there will be a Celebration of Life service for Nancy, with Rev. Bobby Duran and Rev. Bobby Elliott. Interment will follow at Pisgah ARP Cemetery. Immediately after the burial, there will be a visitation in the church fellowship hall.
