Jean Justus Sosebee, 83, passed away on May 21, 2022.

Jean was a resident of Gaston County, she was born November 8, 1938 to the late Ralston and Edith Young Justus. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Wayne R Sosebee.

Jean was a loving mother and enjoyed spending her time making many happy memories with her children and grandchildren. She was a longtime member of Parkwood Baptist Church

She is survived by sons, Alan W (Stephanie) Sosebee, Todd L (Wendy) Sosebee; grandchildren, Alison, Isaac, Caleb (and their mother Gina Neal), Caroline and Peyton; great grandchildren, Savannah, Jacob, Ethan, and Ensley: sisters, Marian Clemmer and Lana Messer; nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00p.m. prior to the Funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 27, 2022 Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Rev. David Belle Isle officiating.

Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home, 2916 Union Road, Gastonia North Carolina, is serving the family.
