Elizabeth Jane Ledford Mefford

She came to visit me many years ago. She had her children with her. When her sister died I went to the funeral home to see if she had come here, She hadn't. I spoke to someone, I think it was her niece and ask her if she would get in touch with me and give me her address. I wrote a note in the book where you sign in and ask her to let me know the information. She never did.  Elizabeth and I were really good friends in school. Oh sure! Elizabeth was my mother's sister (Rita Ledford). Elizabeth has three children and moved to Lexington, Kentucky and spent most of her adult life there. She would come back and visit us in Gastonia over the years. She passed away on Nov 10, 2009. Her married name was Elizabeth Mefford. I'm sorry you weren't able to ever find her since I still live in Gastonia! Do you remember any of my family, my mother Rita and my uncle Bill Ledford?

I was actually looking for my boyfriend's father (James Burr) and I believe he and my aunt Elizabeth could have been in the same class, although James didn't graduate.
